I have the same straightener, for my type of hair is doing the job, I like it, so I decided to buy it as a present but I just received it and it looks used. The box came without any kind of seal or plastic coating (as I remember, mine had it) The straightener is in a paper envelope (??) The envelope of the case is ripped The wire has few dusty marks The straightener had few scratches Now it is also too late to order another one..not happy at all

    Best hair straightener I've used in a long time, straightens at first attempt on the hair, leaves it silky smooth, warms up quickly, comes in a pouch which fastens with a ribbon, not easy though, the wire doesn't go into the pocket, it has to be left by the side of the straighteners when cooled. Great size, just right.

    These were half price in a well known chemist but Amazon came out tops again and I got them even cheaper. They are quite good straighteners, easy to use and easy to adjust temperature. Shame the plates aren't coated more, if you use them too much you get static in your hair. The only down side really is the plug. It's not very big which is fine but there's nothing to get hold of when you want to pull it out of the socket, bit of a struggle. Otherwise I'm quite happy with my purchase.

    I brought these as a spare pair for back up, these heat up quickly and does the job just as well as the GHD’s, I was really impressed, my only problem with these is the handle gets too hot and if you move your hand slightly up too much you get burnt. Hence the 4* I got these on a special deal but if they were the full price I would have sent them back .
