Even I'd heard of GHD. Got my wife the orig hair irons back in the day. So I can appreciate the novelty they bring to products.
Comes packaged as a premium product. Really nice if looking for an Xmas gift.
Feedback from daughter is good. Used a few times when getting ready to head out. Managing to get the styles she wants without too much aggro. Noticed it in a family night out when the obligatory 'are you ready yet ?!' went down from 30mins to 10 ;-)
I got as much info as I could out of an older teen. But basically coming from someone who has dyed their hair to death she did say her hair isnt as dry post-styling as with her usual hair appliances.
So happy to recommend. Not much in the market to compare to so hence only 4 stars as I dont know if it really is worth close to 400 notes.

Very effective but it's size is a little unwieldy
This styling brush arrived in an impressively sleek, black and silver, box. Inside it was nestled in a plastic tray, which felt a bit basic compared to the box.Also in the box was an instruction booklet and a bag/mat, with enclosed cleaning brush.Operated with a simple on/off switch it's easy enough to use but I did find it quite large and unwieldy. I have shoulder length hair and think it's size would be more suited to styling of longer hair.It does get extremely hot (as I found out when I accidentally touched the barrel) but my hair didn't feel damaged in any way and it held the style well, with the smoothness created also lasting for days.At £303.20, at time of review, this is quite an investment but it does have a quality look and feel and certainly does it's job well. I'm not sure it offers great value for shorter hair but I can certainly see it having more value/use for longer locks.

I am a huge fan of GHD products and this hair dryer brush didn't disappoint. I have incredibly thick, long and loose curled hair so styling often takes a very long period of time especially if I want it straight. This gadget is a game changer! It takes a minute to get used to the size and weight of the brush (in comparison to your standard everyday hairbrush) but it is more lightweight than a regular hairdryer so isn't difficult to use. The features included to reduce heat damage are fantastic, my hair was always extra frizzy and damaged using my old hair dryer and even after just a few uses of this product you can really see the difference with frizz especially. My hair is much softer, smoother and shinier. Most impressed by how close to the roots you can get with the brush (this was a worry prior to purchase). I found that it works best if you slowly brush down the hair and sectioning the hair definitely speeds up the process. The set comes with a cleaning brush and hest resistant bag included also. Reasonably priced at £379 in my opinion, the quality of performance is noticable compared to other brands so I consider this more than worth it. Would recommend.
